Let there be light
What exactly is light? While light will have as many definitions as it has contexts, the definition most appropriate in relation to our specific technology platform is electromagnetic radiation ranging in wavelength. However, another definition of light, which we at KLOX Technologies consider most relevant, is that of making vision possible, as in our view, vision and innovation go hand in hand, with light allowing us to make our vision a reality.
Light has been used throughout history to treat countless health conditions. KLOX Technologies has succeeded in evolving the use of light in therapeutic treatments to a new level. It has developed an innovative technology platform; the KLOX Biophotonic System, which consists of a primary multi-LED light device and a patent pending topical photo converter gel, with applications in dermatology, dentistry, and wound treatment. The element-rich photo converter gel is applied to the area being treated, which is then illuminated by the lamp. The interactions that take place aid in the creation of an environment favoring repair.
This innovative system is being evaluated in clinical studies for the treatment of acne, and other medical applications such as wound healing. It has shown itself to be non-abrasive, non-thermal, and non-invasive, with an encouraging safety profile to date.
The science behind our solutions
Biophotonics is the science of generating and harnessing light to image, detect and influence biology, essentially used in the study of tissue and blood to detect, diagnose and provide treatment in ways that are most frequently non-invasive to the body.
Biophotonic technology provides the foundation for KLOX Technologies' innovative, unique and proprietary system producing new and medically non-invasive therapeutic and cosmetic solutions for use in the fields of Dentistry, Dermatology and Tissue Repair.
